At Crystal Peaks, we strive to ensure the surgery is a welcoming, pleasant environment for children and families. With this is mind we hope to foster a positive relationship with the surgery and the NHS. A friendly smile at check in through to the nurses, doctors and other staff who go out of their way to reach out to children and young people during consultations ensures this.
When necessary, our DBS-cleared receptionists may take care of a young child if their parent needs to speak with a Dr alone, but has no option other than to bring their child. We provide a full range of contraceptive services for young women and engage in opportunistic sexual health promotion and screening without having to attend the Central Health Clinic in Sheffield. We also provide IUCD and implanon fitting/ removal services. For an appointment to discuss long acting reversible contraception, please make an appointment to see the GP or follow the link below for more information:

We have a midwife who runs a clinic at the surgery every Wednesday and a Breast Feeding Support Worker who occasionally runs by the side of the midwife to offer any support to new mums.
