Your GP practice has partnered with Convo that helps deaf and hard-of-hearing patients communicate with their practice through a live, on-demand BSL-qualified interpreter. This service aims to improve communication and improve access to healthcare for these patients. What is Convo
Convo is an interpretation service for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. You can talk to your GP practice through a British Sign Language interpreter safely and securely.
If you are a BSL user, you can use Convo to connect to us via an Interpreter. Just scan the QR code when visiting the practice and an interpreter will be available.
This service is to help you contact us for example to book appointments with a clinician, ask for test results or ask questions. Face to face BSL interpreters are still available for your consultations with practice nurses, physios or GPs. These will be booked by reception in the usual way.
